Event Description

The NITRD Program is sponsoring a July 18-20, 2011 Workshop on Tailored Trustworthy Spaces (TTS), one of the Federal Cybersecurity R&D themes.

TTS is a catalyst for cybersecurity solutions within a spectrum of commercial and governmental domains, including the healthcare sector, the financial sector, and the Smart Grid. These domains have a common requirement for customizable, private, and secure environments in which to share information and conduct transactions.  The delivery of services in the healthcare, financial, and Smart Grid sectors could be improved with technologies and systems that would provide the means to establish trusted cyber-subspaces for authorized and appropriate participants and transactions.

The results of the workshop will be considered as prospective inputs into the Federal Government’s planning process for future cybersecurity R&D activities.

A workshop report will be published in the near future.
